More Information for Hunters

All license applications and drawings will be the responsibility of the outfitter.

The main camp operates out of the guesthouse on the C.W. Kessler Ranch, hunts booked for other locations will be organized accordingly.  Lodging includes all amenities such as electricity/phone/shower/full time cook and four separate rooms with beds.   

Clients will be responsible for their own transportation arriving to hunting camp the afternoon before the hunt begins.  Upon arrival clients will meet their guide for the hunt and get situated in the lodging provided. Before every hunt, guides will take the client to the shooting range on the property to ensure that their equipment was not compromised during travel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided.

After an animal is harvested it will be taken back to camp where it will be hung, skinned, and quartered. Freezers will be available immediately after processing is completed.  Clients will have the option to transport their meat as-is “skinned, quartered, and frozen” or will be recommended to a local processor in Cheyenne. Clients are responsible for all game meat harvested.  All animals intended to be mounted will be caped and prepared by the outfitter or the guides and available to be transported upon the departure of the client.  Several reliable taxidermists in the area will also be suggested if the client does not have one of their own and shipment of the trophy may be accommodated if circumstances dictate.

Hunters that harvest early are welcome to stay at the ranch for the duration of their hunt days if they wish.  The guide will be there for all of the days booked with the hunt.  Meals and all accommodations will still be provided. If the client wishes to continue hunting there will be areas for coyote and prairie dog hunting that will not interfere with other active hunters still in camp.

Our hunts will generally be very accommodating to all abilities and skill levels.  Most of our hunts are on private property with fairly easy vehicle access.  An interview with the client prior to booking will be held to ensure we can accommodate any health concerns within the best of our abilities.
